Denmark Successful Reapplication to a Refused Residence Permit
(Accompanying family member)
Our [x] client based in Denmark (Pakistani National) had previously applied for a Residence Permit for his wife to accompany him in Denmark; as he holds a working permit. He came to Denmark first as an international student and at present, works as an “Engineer” for one of the famous company there in Denmark.
Danish Immigration have been allowing spouse, partner or family member (s) to accompany a certain national(s) to live with the sponsor in Denmark. He made his [own] application for his wife (whose living and studying her doctorate degree in Pakistan). Unfortunately, his wife residence permit had been refused on certain grounds; which we believe is NOT new to us, since we have had handled similar cases of him just like to a certain Nepalese National.
He phoned us and discussed his case as he intentionally would have wanted to request in reopening of the said case, as he believed that the decision is NOT fair and unfounded. We have discussed certain things to him (but not all of them), as it was just an assessment and consultation which is part of services. Weeks have passed and he returned to us and is seeking for our help this time to reapply, because after requesting for the reopening of the case, he then again received a negative decision for his wife’s residence permit.
True enough, because we wanted him to help his wife’s visa approval, we then reapply after two (2) subsequent refusal). Our determination on his wife’s case is of course due to “insufficient information and substantial documents” .While in the part of the case/visa officer [processing period]there are mitigating circumstances, as to why (s)he arrived not to grant the visa, in addition to this, a client made a poor and failed “interview” on her first residence permit submission.
Today, we had received his wife’s approval to accompany him to Denmark! He was overwhelmed and thankful to us. After ALL the preparations and waiting time and his desire to live with his wife in Denmark. Although, he could not have wait that long if he just pursued to seek our assistance to request for the reopening of the case – though, we understand that perhaps at that time, he is also considering our “professional fee” but often t0 know, this case(s) should have been handle with an expertise in immigration and vast experience in dealing as such case like for his wife.
